Experience one of Belize’s most popular adventures as you journey through the rainforest and float through an incredible underground cave system carved into the limestone foothills of the Maya Mountains.

Your adventure begins with an approximately 30-minute hike through the tropical rainforest, following trails along the river as your guide introduces you to some of the local flora and fauna. Along the way, you'll get a glimpse of the natural beauty that makes Belize's jungle so unique.

Upon reaching the cave entrance, you'll be fitted with your life vest, helmet, and headlamp before beginning your underground adventure.

Sit back in your tube and allow the gentle current to carry you through the cave as your guide shares information about the impressive limestone formations, geology, and the importance of caves in ancient Maya culture. Archaeological evidence shows that the Maya entered caves for ceremonial and ritual purposes, believing them to be sacred places and gateways to the underworld.

As you float beneath towering cave ceilings and through impressive chambers, you'll experience a fascinating combination of adventure, nature, and Maya history.

Once back in the open river, relax and enjoy the refreshing water and beautiful jungle surroundings as you complete your tubing adventure.
